This Policy describes how Ramjicart uses information when you browse or use the service. It should be read with our Terms and Conditions and Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Information we handle

Depending on how you use the service, information may include your name, email address, phone number, password credentials, restaurant or delivery-partner profile details, delivery address, order contents and status, customer-entered location details such as city, PIN code, market, or nearby landmark, and GPS coordinates. Browser location is requested only when you choose a location-sharing action. A delivery partner's GPS location is shared with customers only for their assigned active deliveries while location sharing is on; it is also used to determine which partners are within dispatch range. We also use necessary session and security data when you sign in or use the website.

How information is used

We use this information to create and secure accounts, show relevant participating businesses, process and track orders, connect a customer with the selected restaurant or grocery shop and assigned delivery partner, provide role-specific dashboards, prevent misuse, and respond to support or legal requests.

When information is shared

Order details needed to prepare and fulfil an order are made available to the selected restaurant or grocery shop and, for delivery orders, the assigned delivery partner. A delivery destination coordinate is shared with the assigned delivery partner, and the partner's active location is shown to the customer for that order. Opening a Google Maps link takes you to Google Maps, which is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy. Authorized platform administrators may access information to operate the service, review accounts, resolve problems, or meet legal obligations. We may use infrastructure or service providers to host or operate the website; they should receive only information needed for that work and handle it subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not publish your password.

Cookies and security

The website uses session and security mechanisms necessary for sign-in and to protect requests. Your browser must allow these for some features to work. We use reasonable measures intended to protect information, but no website or method of internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Retention and your choices

Completed, cancelled, and payment-failed order records, including their line items, are deleted from the active application database when the order is more than 15 days old and no payment or refund is pending. Active orders and orders with pending payment or refunds are retained while they remain unresolved. Account and profile information is kept while the account is active and may be retained as needed for security, dispute handling, or legal requirements. You may ask us to access or correct account information, or to close your account, using the Contact page. We may retain information where required by law.

Children and policy updates

The service is not intended for children to use independently. A parent or legal guardian should be involved where a minor uses the service. We may update this Policy as our service or legal requirements change; the current version and update date will appear on this page.
