Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 25 October 2026
These Terms explain how customers, participating restaurants and grocery shops, and delivery partners may use Ramjicart. Ramjicart provides an online platform for discovering participating businesses and placing pickup or delivery orders. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
1. Accounts and eligibility
Give accurate, current account and contact information and update it when it changes. Keep your password and sign-in access private, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account except where applicable law provides otherwise. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. A minor may use the service only with a parent or legal guardian's involvement and permission.
2. Ramjicart and participating businesses
Ramjicart provides the website and order tools that connect customers with participating restaurants and grocery shops. The business shown with an item is responsible for accepting and fulfilling that order, and for the goods or food it sells, including preparation, packaging, product information, availability, and applicable food-safety requirements. Ramjicart handles the platform functions described here and does not remove any responsibility imposed on it by law.
Delivery is available only where shown at checkout and is carried out by the delivery partner assigned to the order. Pickup orders are collected by the customer from the participating business. Location, delivery coverage, and arrival estimates are approximate and may change; a city, PIN code, market, landmark, or map result does not guarantee a particular distance or delivery time.
3. Product information, pack sizes, and allergies
Participating businesses provide item names, descriptions, pictures, prices, availability, and pack or weight options. Check the selected size and its price before adding an item and again at checkout. Listings may change as stock or availability changes. If information is missing or unclear, contact the business before ordering.
Food descriptions may not identify every ingredient or the risk of cross-contact. If you have an allergy or dietary restriction, contact the restaurant before ordering; do not rely on a listing alone to decide whether an item is safe for you. Nothing in these Terms limits a seller's or the platform's duties under applicable food-safety or consumer law.
4. Orders and prices
Placing an order sends it to the participating business; the order is not confirmed until the business accepts it. The business may decline an order or advise that an item is unavailable. The checkout screen shows the items, selected sizes, applicable fees, and total before you place the order. The price and fee breakdown shown at checkout for that order applies.
For delivery, provide a complete address and a working phone number, and be available to receive the order. For pickup, collect the order from the business. Use an order confirmation code only to confirm a genuine handover. Do not share it with anyone who is not completing that handover.
5. Payment
Available payment methods and the amount due at each stage are shown at checkout. If online payment is enabled, the gateway amount may include the commission and applicable platform or delivery fees shown there; any remaining amount is due at handover as stated on the checkout screen. If online payment is not enabled, no gateway payment is collected when you place the order, and the checkout screen explains where payment is due. Keep the order confirmation and payment receipt for your records.
6. Cancellations, complaints, and refunds
The app currently allows a customer to cancel an order while it is still new and has not been accepted by the business. After acceptance, the app may no longer offer cancellation. This app limitation does not remove any right or remedy available under consumer law, including for an order that is not supplied as agreed, is defective or deficient, or is otherwise eligible for a refund.
If an order is declined, cancelled, incomplete, incorrect, or otherwise problematic, contact us and the participating business through the Contact page, and include the order number. Eligibility and handling are explained in our separate Cancellation & Refund Policy. Any refund will be assessed against the payment actually collected, the reason for the issue, and applicable law. A refund is not promised where no payment was collected.
7. Customer complaints
You may submit a complaint using the contact details on our Contact page. The Grievance Officer will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours, provide a complaint reference and a copy of the complaint as recorded, and redress it within one month, subject to applicable law. If a complaint concerns a participating business, we may share the details needed to investigate it and respond. These Terms do not prevent you from using any consumer grievance or legal remedy available to you.
8. Order-record retention
To keep order history and report data limited, Ramjicart's scheduled cleanup deletes completed, cancelled, or payment-failed order records and their order items once the order is more than 15 days old, provided there is no pending payment or refund. Active orders and orders with pending payment or refunds are retained while they are unresolved. Other account information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Acceptable use and account action
Do not use Ramjicart for unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, or misleading activity; submit false orders; interfere with the website or its security; or try to access another person's account or information. Restaurants and delivery partners must keep their account and listing details accurate and fulfil accepted orders responsibly. We may restrict an account or feature where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, or maintain the service. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and how to contact us.
10. Service changes and responsibility
We may update, suspend, or discontinue a feature for maintenance, safety, legal, or operational reasons. To the extent permitted by law, each participant is responsible for the part of the service they provide. Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded, limits a consumer remedy available under applicable law, or makes a participating business's food or product obligations disappear.
11. Governing law and updates
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute may be brought before a court or consumer forum that has jurisdiction under applicable law. We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. The updated version and date will appear on this page; changes apply prospectively and do not take away rights relating to an order already placed.
12. Operator, Grievance Officer, and contact
Ramjicart is the platform operator. Postal address: Mangal Prasad Chakchai, Post Gaur, Basti, Uttar Pradesh 272163, India. The Grievance Officer is Vishal Shukla, Chief Executive Officer of Ramjicart. You can contact the Grievance Officer at vishwasshukla4321@dmail.com or 9305165943. For questions or complaints, include your order number when available. For information about personal data, see the Privacy Policy.
